236 Houses in West Supiori District, Papua Now Feel the Light

PLN Customer Service Unit (ULP) Yomdori electrified 236 new customers in Kampung Rusweri and Kampung Amyas Barat Supiori District. This is a Christmas gift given by PLN to the two villages, so that the celebration of Christmas and New Year's people in West Supiori can feel the light like the city.

The electricity activity for the new customer was centered at Rusweri Village Hall on Monday (12/23/2019) attended by PLN ULP Yomdori Manager, Reinold Kafiar and the ranks, Head of West Supiori District, Oktovianus Lodwik Rumbekwan, North Supiori Police Chief, Iptu Gassing, Head of Kampung Supiori and Kampung Rusweri, Marthinus Mansoben, as well as Rusweri and Amyas village communities.

Previously, the communities in the two villages still relied on electricity from generators that were not continuous because they were dependent on the availability of fuel oil which is a non-governmental organization.

In his speech the Head of West Supiori District expressed his gratitude because PLN had electrified the two villages so that the people did not need to be independent to buy fuel.

"Many thanks to PLN for paying attention to the Amyas and Rusweri communities. "This is a real longing so that in Christmas and this new year we in Rusweri and Amyas can already enjoy electricity 24 hours," said Rumbekwan.

He hopes that this electricity can provide benefits to people's lives and can encourage economic activities, especially fishermen.
