Enhancing HR, 100 People in Sentani District are Trained to Manage Their Village Potential

As many as 100 people in 7 villages and 3 villages in Sentani District participated in the management of superior products according to the potential of the village and village in Sentani District, which was held at one of the hotels in Sentani City, Monday 9/12/2019.

Head of the Sentani District, Erol Yohanis Daisiu told reporters that the activity was one of the priority programs intended for the community to manage the potential of superior products according to their villages.

"During the activity, the community will be given socialization about their potential so that next year they can already be trained to make superior products owned by their villages," he said.

Besides being trained, "they will also be given assistance related to their potential to become superior products, but here is focused on the potential of carving," he said.

Still he said, this activity was also one of the driving forces in the success of the XX National Sports Week (PON) so that the results of superior products made by the public could be felt.

"Hopefully, they will be considered by facilitating them so that they are able to market their products on the market themselves," he said.

Meanwhile, Jayapura Regent, Mathius Awoitauw, SE., M.Si hoped that the people who participated in the activity could immediately move and not wait of course by seeing and fixing the potential in his village to become a homestay.

"So we provide motivation or encouragement for them, accompanied by village heads and facilitators to strengthen their enthusiasm," he hoped.
