Hendropriyono: Don't Let the Slacken Face the KKB Crimes

Former Head of State Intelligence Agency (BIN) A.M. Hendropriyono criticized the current situation in Papua. He asked the government to no longer use the term Armed Criminal Group (KKB). He asked the Free Papua Movement (OPM) organizations to be included in the list of international terrorists.

"We still consider them KKB, Armed Criminal Group, no. They are rebels. This problem is not only criminal. If we continue to hold on to it, why should we advance the army," Hendropriyono said in Jakarta on Monday (12/23).

"OPM should have entered the list of international terrorists. Because he has killed people who do not understand anything. That is wrong. They killed the army, police, people were also killed. And this can be very difficult to solve," he continued.

He also suggested that all parties realize that it is important to maintain the integrity of Papua from Indonesia. Do not let your guard down let alone saggy. We must all realize that, we must not only rely on the executive and legislative governments, but the ranks of the government, Polhukam, Defense, all of whom must participate in this problem.
