As a form of commitment to light up Papua, PT PLN (Persero) the Papua and West Papua Regional Unit (UIWP2B) has prepared Electricity Savings (Talis) to illuminate the villages. Granting Talis by PT PLN (Persero) UIWP2B) to residents in the village will begin in 2020.

"Enough with the 'plug-and-play', people in remote villages in Papua can already use electricity through rTalis. So that it can meet the needs of lighting to turn on the television. And Talis itself can be refilled at the Electric Energy Filling Station (SPEL), "said Septian in Lombok some time ago.

He said, through the Papua Light Terrorist expedition carried out some time ago, several village heads in the interior of Papua had received the Talis. Giving Talis to some of these villages, for a while only received one Talis.

But in the future, it will provide two Talis to one family, with the hope that electricity will continue. "Later we give two Talis. So one Talis can be recharged or refilled, while the other can be used for lighting, "Septian said.

Furthermore Septian explained, one Talis is able to supply electrical energy to turn on the lights for 8 hours. And Talis has three capacity choices, from 300 Watt Hour (Wh), 500 Wh, to 1,000 Wh.

"Talis can last up to seven years. And the maintenance costs are very minimum, no special maintenance is needed, ”Septian said. One Talis which has a capacity of 300 Wh can be used to light the house for 3 nights. While 500 Wh for 4 nights and 1000 Wh can illuminate the house for up to 8 nights.

"This lighting time assumes the need for a house with a power of 15 Watt (W)," he explained. He added, to fill Talis through SPEL which is connected to PLTS, PLTBm, pikohidro generators, or hybrid plants with diesel. The filling is very easy.
