200 East Java Regional Police Mobile Brigade are dispatched to Papua

To help security in some vulnerable areas in Papua, as many as 200 members of the East Java Regional Police Mobile Brigade were dispatched to Papua. East Java Deputy Police Chief Brigadier General Djamaludin said the 200 members would serve in the Papua Regional Police for 6 months, before leaving, all members had received special training.

"This will carry out the task for six months. There are 200 personnel to be sent. Before they left a few months ago they had already been trained. And when we asked, there were already two BKOs in Papua. So they already know the area, "he said.

On that occasion, Djamaludin advised the members to be ready to face all threats to the possibility that occurred in Papua. He also wanted the Brimob members who were sent to remain intact 200 people when they returned home.

"(The use of sniper) Yes, it depends on the threats in the field. Earlier, the chief of police gave a high intensity speech. So if there is a threat like that yes they are the ones who will face. Later they will depart tonight. I hope 200 departs back 200 amen, "he hoped.
