With the cooperation agreement between the local government and the Papua Province BKSDA, the two parties will jointly protect the forest and preserve existing habitats, such as birds of paradise, turtles and others, especially the forest and its wood and other plants.

Regent Tonny also said that as is well known, in addition to the paradise of Yapen Islands, it also has orchid plants, as well as other forest plants that need to be preserved for better interests going forward.
