UP3 PLN Manager Timika Hotman Ambarita said his staff had signed contracts with a number of vendors to install electricity networks to a number of PON Papua venues in Timika.

"In the next few days they have begun to work on it both in the construction of networks and replacing the existing cable because there are still 30 mili, 70 mili, all of us raise to 150 mili," said Ambarita.

In connection with that, the Timika PLN ranks will coordinate with the Papua PON Sub PB in Timika, because all the work to repair the electricity network requires funds. Ambarita said to support the availability of electric power in all PON Papua venues in Timika, PLN prepared around 2-2.5 megawatts of power.

The electricity network to all the venues will be sourced from two feeders to anticipate that there will be no electricity disruptions during the holding of the Papua PON, next October-November.
