West Papua Governor Inaugurates 173 Echelon III and IV Officials

West Papua Governor Dominggus Mandacan installed 173 Echelon III and IV officials within the West Papua Provincial Government on Wednesday (1/15). Newly appointed officials are expected to work honestly, disciplinely, creatively and innovatively in carrying out governmental tasks.

"Officials are appointed to hold strategic positions in the government. They are appointed as officials by me as the Governor of West Papua. Do not blame the Regional Personnel Agency, in this inauguration process," he said in the inauguration which took place at the West Papua Governor's Office, which is located in Arfai Manokwari.

As the Governor of West Papua, said Dominggus, he has full authority to appoint someone as an official and his decision cannot be contested. In the matter of official inauguration, he continued, BKD was only tasked with preparing the concepts in accordance with their duties and abilities.

This number 1 person in West Papua Province asked Echelon III and IV officials after being appointed to establish good coordination and communication with each Regional Leadership Organization (OPD).
