5 Million More Population of Papua and West Papua Registered Health BPJS

Deputy Assistant for Monitoring and Evaluation of BPJS Deputy for Health in the Papua-West Papua Region, Ario Pambudi Trisnowibowo said the number of JKN-KIS participants in Papua and West Papua up to November 1 2019 was 5,112,762 people, with details of the number of Wage Recipient Workers segment participants ( PPU) as many as 727,925 people, PBPU segment as many as 191,588 people and the Non-Worker segment as many as 46,475 people.

Whereas for participants guaranteed by the Central Government (PBI APBN) there were 3,614,503 people and Regional Governments (PBI APBD) totaling 532,271 people.

While for the First Level Health Facilities (FKTP) as many as 747 and Advanced Level Referral Health Facilities (FKRTL) as many as 43 who have collaborated with the BPJS Deputy for Health in Papua and West Papua.

"This shows that the government pays attention to the condition of its people, because the state is present in addition to paying the contributions to the Recipient of Aid Contributions (PBI), it also adds to the PBPU segment subsidy," he said.
