| Papua and West Papua Get Free Electricity |
Through the One Man One Hope Program, PLN's Papua and West Papua Territory Main Units conduct free electricity connections to 100 underprivileged families in the 3T areas namely lagging, outermost and outermost.
It is known that the free electricity connection at the same time is a voluntary fundraising social movement of PLN employees and subsidiaries that began last October.
General Manager of the Papua and West Papua Territory Unit Unit Ari Dartomo hopes that this program can help communities whose households have not yet been electrified.
The program details 14 Merauke area customers, 22 Biak customers, 22 Nabire customers, 22 Jayapura customers, 8 Manokwari customers, and 12 Timika customers.
"We hope that this program can improve both the economy and education," he explained, Sunday (12/15)
A recipient of One Man One Hope assistance in Merauke named Ruthera Gebze welcomed happily and thanked PLN, for their assistance in electrifying the house, at this time the family could feel the light at night.
