It was very sad and tragic, a member of the KKB armed criminal group was killed tragically during a shootout with TNI-Polri security forces in Kampung Jupara, Sugapa District, Intan Jaya Regency, Papua on Sunday, January 26, 2020 yesterday.

The KKB member's body was shot in the head until his face could not be recognized anymore. According to the information, this contact began at 12.18 West Indonesian Time, a series of simultaneous fire from the height of Kampung Wandoga towards the Ramil post 1705-11 / Sugapa with a distance of approximately 300 meters.

Because they were attacked blindly, at 12.19 West Indonesian Time, all members of the security forces task force and members of the Posramil 1705-11 / Sugapa took shelter at the post and returned fire to protect themselves.

After conducting a sweep and identifying the corpse, the security forces confirmed that the corpse was a member of the separatist group that had earlier attacked the authorities.

Seeing this news circulating, the OPM then claimed that those shot were not members of their group. The TPNPB also mentioned that the security forces had mistakenly shot and killed civilians.

It is really a sneaky scenario, the OPM does not want to recognize its members who have sacrificed everything and even their lives to fight for pseudo Papuan independence with the OPM. It is ironic indeed, on the other hand OPM does not want to bear the shame because its members were killed.
