The Government of Biak Nuimfor Regency, Papua Province in the 2020 budget year programmed the development of each village of an Early Childhood Education Institution (PAUD) in order to implement the vision and mission of "Characteristic and Cultured Religious Biak".

"The education policy program strategy of one PAUD village is in line with the theme of development for the 2020 budget year," Biak Regent Numfor Herry Ario Naap said in the 2020 Program presentation, in Biak, Tuesday.

He mentioned development priorities within the framework of the general budget policy of the 2020 fiscal year prioritized for government affairs which included compulsory and selective matters that were urgent and had a broad impact on improving people's welfare.

For priority programs and activities at the Office of Education, according to him, directed to improve the quality of education and culture which includes the validation of data of educators and education staff.

In addition, the program also improves the quality of basic education data (Dapodik) and meets the needs of school supervisors and supervisors of kindergarten, elementary and junior high schools.

"The Biak Regency Government will also program training to improve the competence of teachers, principals, and procurement of contract teachers to fill the teacher shortage," he said.

He asked for the support of various stakeholders and the DPRD to support education program development policies for Indonesia superior to indigenous Papuans.

Based on data from the Field of Education outside the School of Biak Education, the number of PAUD education institutions until 2019 reached 120 of 257 villages and eight villages, according to Herry Ario Naap.
